WILL YOU WIN ONE FOR THE GRIZZLIES ? — What Sarah Palin’s admirers can do right now: help Christine O’Donnell win in DE.

Posted on: September 15, 2010

The Gawker website’s recent smear on Christine – she with that infectious smile, good cheer and enthusiasm and grace – has somehow united the entire left blogosphere in revulsion. Women as anti-O’Donnell as Amanda Marcotte and Melissa McEwan (both formerly, of incipient-John Edwards- campaign fame) have joined in condemning Gawker.

More recently,  Christine O’Donnell suffered the injury of media bias in the ‘forgotten’ broadcast of her campaign video by Delaware teevee stations. Amazingly, she was quite graceful about it in an interview with Greta. What a good egg that Christine! Support her, please. She is no witch the Left is making her out to be. Just an honest, earthy good person.

Old Post:

The magic of Sarah Palin continues with the triumph of Christine O’Donnell over a septuagenarian, life long, career politician. An accomodationist lost to a Sarah favored newbie – and that sent enough concern amongst Democrats they were moved to be cheered, so it must mean something! It does, and that is, Sarah Palin carries clout, and she exercises it well. So much so even the great Karl Rove and Michael Barone were miffed.

All that talk is foolish if it doesn’t offer a recognition of the power of Governor Sarah Palin. Those who ignore Sarah Palin do so at their own peril, it’s her personal clout that’s at work here in America today.  So, what could the admirers of Sarah do at this point? Follow her lead and help O’Donnell Win one for the Grizzlies.

Not surprisingly, the attacks on Christine O’Donnell have already begun, with Rachel Maddow wasting no time to bring up sexuality, to demonize Christine. What can be more exciting than taking seat held by ole’ Joe.

While the topic is hot, more food for thought about what brought victories like this to pass:

That’s the thing that scares people about the tea party. It operates outside the jurisdiction set down by the other parties, be they Democratic or Republican. All those sources of patronage, wells of political preferment, reservoirs of prestige, perquisites, and power: That’s what politics as usual is about. It has built up an impressive institutional structure. It’s worked, more or less, for many decades. And now this decentralized, grass-roots organization (in so far as it is an organization) threatens to upset the whole apple cart.  Roger’s Rules at Pajamas Media

This blog supported Sarah Palin, and now it supports candidates endorsed by her. Christine O’Donnell is  the latest and most amazing one such. By helping her you are helping Sarah who is the consummate coalition builder!!

  • Slaying Salmon July 15, 2014
Home from commercial fishing grounds in Bristol Bay, and here's Piper helping slay salmon to market! A good season for wild reds on the Nushagak, Piper hopes to make enough to cover, maybe, a cell phone bill. Do you agree, as I’ve said before, we need more girls holding up fish in pics instead of holding up iPhones in selfies?!  It’s always wonderful re […]

  • It Takes a Village... to Slay a Salmon July 3, 2013
The beauty of catching some of our Alaskan species with fins is the amount of meat harvested with each fish. Rod and reeling red salmon, or, my favorite, a big (or even not so big) halibut ensures you've got a few dinners taken care of even when feeding a bunch of people. We had a blast hauling in halibut in Homer a few days ago, despite the cold rain an […]
  • Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Gettysburg June 30, 2013
Today marks the beginning of the week-long ceremonies commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. There will be a full re-enactment of the battle, discussions with panels of historians, and of course a re-reading of the Gettysburg Address. But as Lincoln affirmed when he dedicated that hallowed ground, nothing we say or do can “add or de […]
  • #SOTUGottaBKiddingMe February 13, 2013
If you missed President Obama’s State of the Union address last night, you didn’t miss much – especially if you watched any of his past four State of the Union addresses. We heard the same recycled rhetoric, and we heard his Orwellian declaration that the cornucopia of new federal programs he proposed, as well as his intention to eradicate world poverty, wou […]
  • New Year's Resolution to Keep the Faith! January 1, 2013
Best wishes to everyone for a happy New Year! In the coming days there will be a great deal of debate about the goings-on in the political arena and the shenanigans in Washington. Constitutional commonsense conservatives must stay engaged and hold our “leaders” accountable to the voice of average everyday hard working Americans or we will very soon become an […]

On Friday's Outnumbered, former Obama State Department spokesman Marie Harfwas "sort of ... offended" when asked why there is "such an open animosity to Christianity from those on the left." Harf rejected the idea "that there is something inherent among the left that means we don’t like Christianity." Gosh, what would make […]

  • What? ABC Panelist Suggests Tillerson Was Fired to Ensure a War With Iran March 18, 2018
In what really could only be described as a completely bonkers conspiracy theory, The Nation magazine editor Katrina vanden Heuvel suggested Sunday that Rex Tillerson was fired from the secretary of state position because his replacement was funded by the Koch brothers and because the administration wanted a war with Iran. If you’re confused, don’t worry, th […]

  • Wrecked: Ben Shapiro Destroys Stelter for Denying Media’s Liberal Bias March 18, 2018
In a bit of must-see TV, conservative icon and Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources this Sunday to debate host Brian Stelter on the topic of the media’s liberal bias. As would be expected, Shapiro wiped the floor with Stelter as he called out CNN for blatantly pushing a gun control agenda and not being objective.
