Obama supporter waves gun, demands sign, shuts down CA highway

The San Luis Obispo Tribune is reporting the update story of another case of mental derangement of an Obama supporter:
A masked man waving an American flag and a revolver on a Highway 101 overpass brought traffic to a halt for more than three hours Monday before he surrendered peacefully to police.
Crisis negotiators coaxed Edward Van Tassel, 28, to give up. After dropping the weapon, Van Tassel asked for a Barack Obama campaign sign, which authorities provided and he attached to the overpass along with the flag, police said.
Nearly three hours into the siege, Van Tassel put the revolver down, asked for an Obama sign, which was delivered by a bomb squad robot. Van Tassel later walked backward to officers, who took him into custody shortly after 10:30 a.m. No shots were fired during the incident. Telephone directory assistance had no listing for Van Tassel.
The freeway, a major route along the California coast, was completely shut down west of downtown Santa Barbara during the incident and the Highway Patrol reported at 10 a.m. that traffic was backed up at least three miles in each direction.
My sympathies are with this man, he is after all a war vet, a guy who volunteered to serve his country. We all ought to thank him. But the question is what provoked him today, this day, to do this. Why on the eve of the election? He must have some pretty strong feelings, obviously. Could this have happened in recent years, or is this a flashback to the Sixties? Who is the candidate of the Sixties and more?
Whatever the deep motives of this honorable ex-serviceman, we simply say NObama!

What is interesting about this story, is that most MSM that ran it, left out the NObama connection. The headlines read “Man with a Gun” nothing about Obama supporter with gun.
I point this out as Heaven knows if the guy would have been a Hilary supporter, the MSM would have claimed she personally gave him the gun. If he supported Palin, they would have claimed Palin told him to hunt.
I am sick of the MSM, their bias, their lack of honesty, and I do not support their president they forced on us.
