New William Ayers Ad paid for by RNC – Guilt by participation
Posted October 13, 2008on:
The recent public focus on the Obama-Ayers connection gets a boost in this RNC sponsored ad. It hits all the right notes in pointing out the shady realationships of Obama’s career, uses Ayers’ own sound bites, highlights the poor judgement in using and the hipocrisy and lying way of dissembling about this relationship. A very powerfl indictment. Guilt by participation, as Stanley Kurtz says, long overdue dose of truth in the finale, Career first, Country second:
When I see this ad, it calls to mind this line from Sarah Palin’s acceptance speech:
In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers.
And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.
