Why did Sarah Palin resign?

Posted by: sharmajee on: July 4, 2009

Sarah, recently, in Kosovo

Sarah, recently, in Kosovo

Opinions, yes they all have opinions.

There is a very wide spectrum of ideas on why Sarah Palin resigned so suddenly. The opinions are varied, and even contradictory. That’s what makes this fun. Please be patient as there is no instant-wisdom here. Just speculation.

What about the real reason, you ask.

Well, to paraphrase the great Randy Travis, listen to how this blog post ends (wink).

I trust Sarah. She has a good heart, and a fine mind. I value only her opinions.

Sarah Palin is like the peacock at a poultry show. She is the one to watch and listen to. So, like she said, stay tuned.

In the meantime, let’s listen to the chickens, the ducks, and the turkeys.

Start with the rising star of analysis, the astute Chuck Todd, the one and only founder of HotLine on Call:

John Harwood, David Shuster, Alex Witt of NBC:

Carl Cameron of Fox News.

Charles Krauthammer, Juan Williams, Brit Hume, of Fox News

Bill Kristol of Weekly Standard on Fox.

Mark Levin on his own radio show.

Mike Huckabee & Bill Kristol on Neil Cavuto Show (Stuart Varney), Fox News.

And, of course, the totally useless opinion of the annoying-voiced, and self-absorbed Andrea Mitchell, the chief worshiper correspondent at White House from NBC.

Here is someone who has a youtube channel totally devoted to Governor Palin, its almost an adoration of Sarah. But the sentiment is clear and straightforward.

Finally, as promised at the top, the real reason the average man thinks why Sarah Palin resigned. ”The Obama Smear Machine Wins”

Listen to this man. He speaks for me, he speaks for us. I don’t know the person, just found him while googling, but the clip is a good find.

This man speaks for all the Pumas and all the Palinators.

CAUTION: SOME STRONG LANGUAGE!

(He does, get carried away with his affection for Sarah Palin, her candidacy, and with his NObamist views. Be kind, his emotions are understandable.)

1 Response to "Why did Sarah Palin resign?"

I heard she needed more time with nature less with the blowhards from washington.

And if nothing else, she resigned to create a Palin Cottage industry with a plethora of Palin shirt artwork

I commend Interior Secretary Salazar’s decision today to conditionally approve drilling at three exploratory wells in the Chukchi Sea off the northwest coast of Alaska; it’s a decision that’s been a long time coming. The area north of the Arctic Circle contains some of the world’s richest oil and gas reserves. U.S. Geological Survey researchers estimate that […]
  • Reflection on Pearl Harbor December 7, 2009
On December 7, 1941, the Empire of Japan launched a surprise attack on the U. S. Naval Station at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in which thousands of Americans lost their lives and our naval fleet was severely damaged. The events of that day, which President Franklin Roosevelt vowed would “live in infamy,” proved for many Americans that aggressors would not simply i […]

  • Stupid Conspiracies December 4, 2009
Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask... which they have repeatedly. But at no point – not durin […]
  • Mr. President: Boycott Copenhagen; Investigate Your Climate Change "Experts" December 4, 2009
The president’s decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to “hide the […]
  • The Ethos of Ethics December 4, 2009
When the Governor announced her decision to resign on July 3, she pointed out the then 15 frivolous ethics complaints that had been filed against her and dismissed. It was intended to explain, in part, her decision to resign as well to educate the public about the abuse of the Alaska Ethics Act through a repetitive stream of baseless partisan accusations, ea […]

My parents and I just had a wonderful time at “Hard Work U” – the school motto of College of the Ozarks. It earned that proud nickname because students there work their way through college and graduate with little or no debt. • Finally, A Decision for Afghanistan: We're In It to Win It December 2, 2009
Three months ago, I joined a number of Americans in urging President Obama to provide the resources necessary to achieve our goals in Afghanistan. Tonight, I am glad he mostly heeded that advice. At long last, President Obama decided to give his military commanders much of what they need to accomplish their mission in Afghanistan. In the end, he decided to e […]

  • Robert Gibbs Touts Gallup Numbers When They Support Obama December 9, 2009
White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, recently ridiculed a Gallup poll which showed the President's approval ratings at a record low for this stage of his presidency, for seemingly no other reason than they showed the President in a negative light.  Gibbs referred to the Gallup polling organization as a wildly fluctuating EKG, labeling their result […]

  • Bozell Column: Climate Skeptics Need Mental Help? December 9, 2009
Talk about an inconvenient truth. In ever-increasing numbers, Americans are becoming skeptical about the scientific argument that there’s a man-made global-warming crisis that requires immediate and drastic government action. The media’s enablers of the radical environmental left have a response: maybe America just isn’t smart or curious enough to save the p […]

It took Susan Rice, US ambassador to the United Nations for the most leftward presidency since LBJ, to remind Maddow that al Qaeda's deadly intent is not "hypothetical."Preceding Rice's appearance on […]
