Pastor Manning endorses Sarah Palin & John McCain

Sarah Palin Rocks!
Pastor Manning is a fascinating indidvidual, the most famous critic of Obama anywhere, but significantly so in the African-American community. He has a solid presence on the web, a wildly popular channel on youtube and widely quoted in the blogs, and has appeared on internet radio My Two Cents.
Pastor Manning is the founder of ATLAH church in New York City, and man given to deeply felt revelations, intimations of divine contact (real or imaginary – does it matter?) and resounding, brassy tirades informed by socio-economic realisms of modern American black experience. He preaches self-reliance, shunning of handouts, enlightened pluralism and completely despises hypocrisy.
He is a rare, but not unusual preacher who scoffs at the victim politics of his community. He had the gumption to compare Obama to Hitler in his sermons and videos. Pastor Manning expressed horror at the comparisons between Obama and Dr.King and JFK. Not even Jesus is as popular as Obama! he railed. An amazing person who drank at the same theological fountain as Rev. Jeremiah Wright, yet came out with different practical outlooks! His church is just a few blocks from Bill Clinton’s office in Harlem.

Pastor Manning is a person the country will be hearing from a lot more and often. These videosi are a good introduction. They show his solid grounding in scholarship, oratory, commonsense, personal world view, and strong racial awareness. As he might say, Peace!
