See Also the post: Nobama – New American Rhetoric
There is a new badge being worn by bloggers these days, we refer of course to Hillary bloggers, or Dem bloggers. This new badge is being worn as an item of honor, but it represents rage and courage! More on that in a bit.
Simply click the Just Words? tab to see some graphics from the primary season of the 2008 election. This page will be updated periodically as we scoop up additional bits off the recesses of blogosphere. So, check it periodically. Now, this campaign has seen a spectacular range of graphic shorthand used by bloggers to speak their mind. Some acerbic, some caustic, a few born of fire and brimstone. Almost all witty, always making a statement. But the graphics keep coming with the same regularity as the You-Tube videos and are just as hard to keep up with. One thing for sure, each and every one of the graphics is loaded with meaning.
The logo of Nobama Network is interesting. The shield of course represents both fighting and defiance. It connotes the most prominent insignia on the highways. A railroad company uses it too. And it has stars and stripes, what can be more American than that! Please, relax, I counted those stars. No echoes of 13 star flags here. Their number here appears to be just happenstance. The typeface reminds me at least, of the US currency notes. The words on our money look like they are set up with similar looking letters. Coming in the wake of recent campaign announcements, and talk of someone raising may be 300 mill.s to run in November, the typeface on the logo seems prescient!
The anti-Obama sentiment has been brewing for a long time. It is not a simple straightforward racism, that would be too easy to dismiss and discount, Too, It is not just the pro-Hillary voters who refuse to accept her ‘defeat’. Far from it! This gathering tidal wave of rejection-ism has a long history and deep roots, finding voice and venting now, egged on in no small part by the very object of it.

I like the NOBAMA logo much better than I liked his phoney, fascist seal.
